Travis J. Logghe

Tax law isn’t as black and white as you might think.

My Approach

I have a background in mechanical engineering, which on the face might seem like a far jump to tax law. But I think what drew me to both, and what interests me every day in my role as a tax attorney, is the very technical nature, with strict rules that must be followed, which forces me to be creative in order to find solutions that work for my clients. I work within the rigid framework of the tax code to find practical solutions that allow my clients to meet their business objectives.

In addition to working on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions and general business matters, I spend time working with the real estate team on various federal and state tax credit transactions in helping clients develop opportunities in underserved communities.

Outside of work, I spend time outdoors with my wife and children, going boating, mountain biking or at the cabin.
