Erin A. Oglesbay joins the firm’s
Business & Commercial Litigation law practice. Before joining Winthrop & Weinstine, Erin clerked for the Honorable James M. Rosenbaum, United States District Court Judge for the District of Minnesota, and practiced with another Twin Cities law firm. Erin graduated
magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was also inducted into the
Order of the Coif. Erin was the co-editor-in-chief for the
Minnesota Journal of Global Trade, and won the Federal Bar Association Ed Devitt Award at law school. She earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
Michael J. Stepan joins the
Creditors’ Remedies & Bankruptcy Law practice group after practicing with another Twin Cities law firm. Mike’s practice emphasizes creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, commercial-loan enforcement, real-estate litigation, foreclosures, workouts, and litigation. Mike is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where he served on the editorial board of
William Mitchell Law Review. After graduating from law school, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gregory F. Kishel, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Minnesota. Before and during law school, he was courtroom deputy clerk to the Honorable Nancy C. Dreher, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Minnesota. Mike also has a B.A. from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, as well as a certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute.
