Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., Community Banking attorney Edward J. Drenttel was quoted in the June 26, 2009, issue of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The article, “Commercial real estate hurting more local banks,” discusses how bad real-estate loans have affected the community banks, resulting in more vacancies. “If we have some addition economic growth, maybe you’ll have less vacancies in those malls,” Ed said. “It’s a function of the timing of it all” (Qtd. in Niemela).
