Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., tax credit attorney and shareholder, Norman L. Jones, was quoted in the article, “History and the Hill: If at First You Don’t Succeed…” from Novogradac’s Journal of Tax Credits. Jones was part of the legal team involved in drafting a new bill intended to improve the effectiveness of federal and state historic tax credits and new markets tax credits. The article recounts two attempts to reform tax credit bills—one federal and one state—and the time-consuming revisions needed in order to appeal to the greatest audience.
