Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A.’s Director of Marketing Deb Cochran was recently quoted in the
Finance & Commerce article, “
Getting the most out of your marketing bucks." Deb comments on the importance of individual client relationships and attorney involvement in marketing, saying, “The core marketing principles of a law firm, like any business, are timeless. You start with a strategy that connects with people, builds relationships from those connections and then provide stellar service to your clients” (qtd. in Thornton).
The article was in response to
U.S. News & World Report’s first publication of the Best Law Firms list, which adds to the growing number of directories, and the need for law firms to effectively allocate their marketing funds. Deb, a past president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association, says that above all, in order for a marketing campaign to be effective, attorneys must be “passionate and engaged about the endeavor” (qtd. in Thornton).
