Minneapolis, MN – August 12, 2011. Inspired Technologies, Inc. (“ITI”) received excellent news regarding a lawsuit with its insurer.
Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., representing ITI, received a major victory on behalf of their client, ITI.
ITI’s insurer, AMCO Insurance Company (“AMCO”), had moved for summary judgment in the lower court and successfully argued AMCO had no duty to defend ITI in a lawsuit that had been initiated by 3M. The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit disagreed with the lower court and stated that “AMCO owed ITI a duty under Minnesota law to defend the entire suit.” For full details on the Court’s ruling,
