Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., Announces New Shareholders and Associates
Minneapolis, MN – January 1, 2013.  Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., is pleased to formally announce the promotion to shareholder of two lawyers, Tom Hanson and Brent Lorentz. In addition, Ryan Schildkraut and Joe Windler have been promoted to managing associates.

Tom Hanson practices in the Legislative & Regulatory Group, and advises clients of the firm in their dealings with federal, state and local government. Mr. Hanson joined Winthrop & Weinstine in 2010, after serving as the Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) from 2006 to 2010.

Brent Lorentz practices in the Business & Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property groups. He has represented large corporations, small businesses, and individuals in disputes involving intellectual property, contracts and insurance, employment, securities, and constitutional issues. Brent has experience practicing in state and federal district courts, appeals courts, and arbitration forums. He joined the firm in 2006.

Ryan Schildkraut practices in the Corporate & Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. He represents both established companies and entrepreneurs on a wide range of corporate finance and transactional matters, including business formation and fund raising, corporate governance, review and negotiation of business contracts, real estate, and regulatory compliance. He joined the firm in 2007.

Joseph Windler joined Winthrop & Weinstine in 2007, and practices in the Business & Commercial Litigation group. He focuses on general commercial litigation, in addition to administrative and regulatory law, employment law, and family law. Mr Windler’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to individuals in a variety of industries, such as banking, food service, dentistry, energy, construction, capital venture and insurance.

Benjamin Hanna (Real Estate), Brett Klein (Intellectual Property), Erin Mathern (Real Estate), Kelly McBeain (Litigation), Christina McSparron (Corporate & Transactions), Paul Robbennolt (Intellectual Property), John Sellner (Business & Commercial Litigation), Anjali Shankar (Employment), Ann Steingraeber (Real Estate), and Nathan Witzany (Intellectual Property).
