I really like the size of the law firm; it's big enough to have some truly qualified attorneys in the areas I need, but not so large to have a high degree of infrastructure that adds costs without value.

Tom Hanson Quoted in The New Republic on Minnesota Government Shutdown

Lobbyist Tom Hanson discusses Minnesota’s government shutdown with Walter Shapiro. Tom is familiar with government shutdowns—he served as Minnesota Management and Budget commissioner under former governor Tim Pawlenty during the 2005 shutdown. “I don’t think either side wanted to get a shutdown,” Tom said. “But they haven’t found common ground” (qtd. in Shapiro).
