Experience
Derek R. Allen is an associate practicing in Winthrop & Weinstine’s Business & Commercial Litigation group. He has experience working with Fortune 500 companies in corporate matters through The University of Chicago Law School’s Corporate Laboratory. Derek was a team leader for the program, which gives students the opportunity to learn transaction law through “real-world” experience.

During law school, Derek participated in the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship. The Clinic pairs lower-income entrepreneurs with law students to provide businesses with the legal support they need.
