Edward J. Drenttel joined Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., in 1985 and has been a shareholder since 1990. He represents emerging and established companies in a broad range of legal issues affecting their businesses, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. From an industry standpoint, Ed’s practice includes the representation of numerous financial institutions throughout the midwest. Ed also has considerable expertise representing founder and investor groups in connection with the chartering of de novo banks. He frequently counsels his banking clients on regulatory matters, capital matters, the expansion of existing activities and mergers and acquisitions. Ed is a frequent lecturer on current legal issues impacting banks and bank holding companies.
