Experience
Holly A. Stocker is an attorney with Winthrop & Weinstine's commercial lending, real estate and wind energy development practice groups. Holly helps clients who have legal needs in the areas of commercial financing, real estate and construction lending, and secured transactions. She has significant experience representing lenders in transactions involving New Markets Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Credits and Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits. In addition, she works with clients throughout the country to develop and finance wind energy projects.

Before joining Winthrop & Weinstine in 2006, Holly previously worked for a large financial planning company, where she gained extensive knowledge in the finance industry. Her comprehensive application of that field helps her to provide clients with sound legal strategies and solutions.

In addition to her legal practice, Holly is a passionate and active member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, and mentors law school students through the firm’s Minority Mentorship Program. She also volunteers regularly for MEDA, or the Metropolitan Economic Development Association, an organization whose mission is to help entrepreneurs of color succeed.
