Janine K. Cherne joined Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., as a paralegal in 1987. She assists the attorneys in the Estate Planning & Business Succession Planning practice area. Prior to joining Winthrop & Weinstine, Janine worked briefly in Philadelphia’s District Attorney's office; for four-plus years in a Lansing, Michigan, law firm; and served as a co-trustee of a Testamentary Trust.
Janine possesses a well rounded knowledge of trust and estate matters through her more than 20 years of experience. Presently, her responsibilities include the preparation of various legal documents pertaining to estate and trust administration, preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns, and extensive client contact. Janine’s broad range of experience provides attorneys and clients alike with the best of resources.
