Joseph Phelps is an associate in the Real Estate and Tax Credit
practice, and also has experience in commercial and real estate debt workout
and restructuring transactions. He is also dedicated to his community, and
represents pro bono clients through the Volunteer Lawyers Network.
Joe earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, magna
cum laude, where he also served as editor of Cybaris, Intellectual
Property Law Review
and a staff member of the William Mitchell Journal
of Law and Practice
. He earned his B.A. from Hawai’i Pacific University, magna
, in Political Science and Justice Administration. He also had the
opportunity to participate in Semester at Sea, allowing him to study in and
experience the diverse cultures of China, Vietnam, India, Kenya, South Africa,
Brazil and Venezuela.
