Kyle R. Kroll is an associate in the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation groups. He is also a contributor to the Trademark practice’s blog, DuetsBlog. Prior to joining the firm, Kyle clerked for the Honorable Joan N. Ericksen, U.S. District Court Judge in the District of Minnesota. During law school, he worked as a summer associate with Winthrop & Weinstine and was a law clerk for a St. Paul, MN business transactions firm.

Kyle earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota, with a concentration in Civil Litigation, and was selected for the Order of the Coif. He was an editor for the Minnesota Law Review, mentored students as a Structured Study Group instructor in civil procedure and property, served as the Law School Student Senator in the University and Student Senates, and was elected President of the professional student body (comprising more than 11,000 students). Prior to law school, Kyle earned his B.S.B from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. While at Carlson, he represented the undergraduate student body as one of four representatives to the Board of Regents. He double-majored in Entrepreneurial Management and Philosophy and graduated summa cum laude.
