Matthew Robinson is a member of Winthrop & Weinstine’s
Business and Commercial Litigation department. Matthew represents clients in a
wide variety of commercial litigation contexts, including actions involving
breach of contract, civil fraud, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty,
misappropriation of trade secrets, and class actions. Matthew’s practice
incorporates a particular emphasis on securities litigation, and also includes
representations in the areas of commercial contracts and warranties, banking
and finance, shareholder and limited partner disputes, employment, energy,
healthcare, and regulatory matters. Matthew’s clients include both private and
public companies and range in size from small, family-owned businesses to
large, Fortune 500 companies. Matthew works tirelessly for his clients to serve
as an advisor and advocate both in and out of the courtroom.
Matthew is active in his
community and has been recognized by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a
North Star Lawyer for his commitment to providing pro bono legal services.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew earned his J.D. from Northwestern University
School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Boston College.
