Experience
Matthew J. Lemke joined Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., in 2003 and is a shareholder in our Legislative & Regulatory group. Matthew uses his legal, legislative and political experience to assist clients and counsel them on the best course of action to take to achieve their goals. He has experience working on a broad array of issues, including commerce, banking, tax, data practices, health care, transportation, energy and environmental matters. Matthew has built strong and influential relationships with Minnesota legislators and other policy makers, giving him the tools to effectively advise and represent clients at the state capitol and before administrative and regulatory bodies.
Matthew was elected by his lobbying peers to serve on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Government Relations Council (MGRC), and currently serves as the chair of the MGRC’s Education and Outreach Committee. Matthew has consistently been named to the Rising Stars list by Minnesota Law & Politics, MPLS.St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business since 2007, an honor that is given to less then 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Ramsey County Bar Association and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.
