Noreen J. Sedgeman is a corporate attorney with a broad base of experience in diverse business transactions.  She is experienced in handling matters related to mergers & acquisitions, contract negotiation, entity formation, securities, and banking.  She works with private and public companies in a wide variety of industries.  Noreen is skilled in drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, corporate governance documents, employment agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.  In addition, she regularly analyzes and advises clients on regulatory issues and a wide range of business matters (including corporate reorganizations, corporate finance, and employment law).  Noreen works closely with clients to understand their individual businesses and goals, which enables her to provide nuanced and strategic advice to assist clients in attaining their objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, Noreen was a law clerk for the Honorable Lorie Gildea, Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court.  As a law clerk at the Minnesota Supreme Court, Noreen gained experience and perspective analyzing and applying the law to novel issues.  Noreen uses this experience to deftly advise businesses as they navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks.

Noreen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. During her time in law school, Noreen served as a managing editor on the Minnesota Law Review. She was elected to the Order of the Coif and received the Burton Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. Before attending law school, Noreen graduated summa cum laude from St. Olaf College with departmental distinction in history.
