Experience
Paul joined Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., in 1995 and is a shareholder of the firm. He has broadbased experience in representing clients with sophisticated tax concerns. Paul advises clients on a wide range of tax-planning issues in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, real estate taxation, securities offerings, and general corporate and partnership taxation. He also has extensive experience in representing clients regarding the development and financing of affordable housing and its related tax issues.
Prior to joining Winthrop & Weinstine, Paul practiced law at a major international law firm headquartered in New York City as a member of its tax department. While there, his practice focused on tax planning relating to mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and partnership taxation, real estate tax, real estate restructuring, securities offerings, tax controversy work, and international taxation.
