Stacy A. Brooks joined Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A. as a paralegal in 2012 and assists attorneys in the patent prosecution group. Prior to joining Winthrop & Weinstine, she worked as a paralegal for a Minneapolis intellectual property law firm. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in mathematics from the College of St. Scholastica, and earned her post-baccalaureate paralegal certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute.
Stacy assists with all stages of the patent prosecution process for U.S., International Patent Cooperation Treaty, and foreign patent applications, including preparing and filing documents and interacting with clients and foreign associates.
Stacy served two terms as the Treasurer and Director of Finance
for the Minnesota Paralegal Association, and currently volunteers as an ethics
investigator for the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility.
