Timothy M. Barnett has been practicing in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and franchise law for over 20 years. Tim serves as corporate and transactional counsel to a large number of successful national, regional, and local companies in a variety of industries, including aerospace, construction, manufacturing, software development and licensing, real estate, quick service restaurants, and other franchised businesses. Blending his law practice with a background as a Certified Public Accountant, he regularly counsels his clients on a variety of complex business transactions, including business acquisitions and sales, venture capital investments, strategic alliances, and debt and equity financings. In the closely held business arena, Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit has benefited him in the representation of dozens of new and emerging companies. He possesses special expertise in counseling entrepreneurs on the organization, financing and development of their closely held businesses, helping them convert business opportunities into reality.
