I started my career at a small law firm, where I practiced law for over a decade. As a result, I was able to gain experience in a broad array of practice areas, both litigation and transactional.
Engaging in such a practice requires an attorney to embrace learning about a new industry, the legal challenges facing that industry, and finding creative solutions for my clients’ problems. I have never been afraid of a new challenge – quite the opposite. The most rewarding part of being a lawyer is the ability to take on those challenges for my clients.
Litigation can be a long, opaque process. Given my experience in litigation and transactional matters, I am able to guide clients through that process and, at times, help them avoid litigation in the future.
Outside of work, I recently moved to a small hobby farm, and my energy goes to keeping that up – we have 5 horses, a puppy and chickens. I also love to work with wood, and bike everywhere I can.
I represent clients in Year-15 LIHTC exit disputes and other real estate and construction litigation, as well as all corporate litigation matters. I also have significant experience assisting businesses in insurance, intellectual property, employment and regulatory matters.
I have extensive experience closely reviewing and analyzing commercial contracts including construction agreements, vendor contracts, nondisclosure agreements, intellectual property agreements, joint development agreements, and more.
