I represent clients in litigation matters of various kinds, including shareholder disputes and employment litigation. I have experience in legal analysis, brief writing, hearings, and advocating in the courtroom.
As soon as I got into the law, I knew I wanted to be a litigator. When I get involved in a project, I throw myself in wholly, and I love being able to do that on behalf of my clients. Legal analysis is a process of figuring out the answer, but not just any answer – the one that is the best for each individual set of circumstances and each client’s business.
I also do pro bono legal work, and while in law school volunteered with the Domestic & Sexual Violence Project, and was also involved with the Exoneration Project, which reviews cases of innocence for people who have gone to trial and were found guilty of crimes they did not commit. My passion for advocacy extends outside of the courtroom—I am the Minnesota State Organizer for RISE, a non-profit group working to expand civil rights for survivors of sexual assault.
Outside of work, I love to run with my two dogs
