I represent clients in litigation matters of various kinds, including antitrust cases, complex contract disputes, class action defense, and appeals. I have experience in complex discovery matters, legal analysis, motion practice, brief writing, representing clients at hearings, and appellate work.
As soon as I got into the law, I knew I wanted to be a litigator. I love the nuts and bolts of litigation—the procedure, in-depth legal research on complicated issues, and crafting a persuasive, legally sound argument. Legal analysis is a process of figuring out the answer, but not just any answer – the one that is the best for each individual set of circumstances and each client’s business.
My passion for the process of litigating shines in the complex legal disputes I work on, including antitrust cases, complex contract disputes, class action defense, and appeals.
I also use this passion for simplifying the complex legal system to serve the community through pro bono legal work, including an appeal of an indigent client’s conviction on constitutional grounds and appeals of denials of unemployment benefits before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. My passion for advocacy extends outside of the courtroom—I am the Minnesota State Organizer for RISE, a non-profit group working to expand civil rights for survivors of sexual assault.
Outside of work, I can usually be found running through the trails of Minneapolis and St. Paul with one of my two rescue dogs, and I’ve recently started training for my first triathlon.
