I represent clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including preparing purchase agreements, closing-related documents, leases and easements and managing timelines and due diligence requirements leading to closing. During my time as a Senior Commercial Closer, I closed hundreds of real estate transactions. I have extensive experience working through title clearance matters and negotiating title coverage and in all aspects of commercial closings in varying levels of complexity involving sales, acquisitions, new development and refinances. I also have experience analyzing construction project budgets and underwriting of mechanics’ lien coverage for lenders’ title insurance.
My role in every transaction is to help my client get to closing. I work as a partner with my clients to anticipate speed bumps in the path to closing, and absorb or remove them. As an experienced closer, I have seen nearly every issue that may arise, and work with my clients to prevent them. I place an extremely high value on communication and relationships with my clients; the better I understand how you work and your goals, the better service I can provide.
Prior to joining Winthrop, I was a Senior Commercial Closer for a Minneapolis title company. Because I have been in that neutral seat, I have a great deal of respect for what each party is trying to accomplish, as well as the knowledge of each side and how to steer my client towards their goals.
Outside of work, I’m a Mom, and I also enjoy travel, being active and exercising – you’ll find me at spin class every Saturday morning.
