Raha Assadi-Lamouki

I became a lawyer to help solve complicated problems.

My Approach

I knew, as soon as I first experienced it as a summer associate, that I wanted to do transactional work. I love working with businesses to achieve a goal, to establish and create something new. I help my clients find opportunities that they might not have known existed, or navigate through obscure processes and procedures they might not be familiar with. Listening to my clients, and then really learning and getting into their problem to create a solution, are the best parts of my day.

Outside of work, I serve on the board of Still Kickin, a non-profit that helps awesome people through awful things. Each month the group chooses a “hero” that we’re working for, usually someone who needs help with an emergency situation.

I also love to cook – but I really wish I could be an amazing Iranian chef like my mom. I am conversant in Farsi, and jump at the chance to speak it when I can.
