I represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including due diligence, drafting motions and briefs, research, preparing depositions, and analyzing the documents, transcripts and testimony to help to create the narrative.
When I was in high school, I thought what I wanted to do with my life was write stories, and I was partially right – I view litigation as crafting the facts into a story that presents my clients’ point of view. I help clients reach their goals through litigation by sifting through all of the facts and history in a dispute, and whittling it down into a clear narrative.
When I’m not at work, I spend as much time as I can outdoors, or at my cabin on the Iron Range that I built with my grandfather one summer when I was growing up. I also enjoy hunting, fly fishing, and boxing, though not competitively since college.
