I represent clients on the sale and acquisition of a wide range of property types, as well as leasing, environmental, resolution of complex title problems, and negotiation of land conservation and preservation matters for for-profit, non-profit and governmental clients.
My Approach
I thrive on digging into complex title and survey questions, and resolving issues that no one else even wants to think about, sometimes researching records from decades ago to find the answer. I work as part of the general real estate team to help identify and resolve these complicated issues so that clients can proceed with their transactions. I love researching and putting together the history of a place, and then working with the title company, county recorder or examiner to solve the puzzle – not just for the current transaction, but for the future – so the client will never have to deal with it again.
Outside of work, I love (and do) fiber art, plants, and everything about the natural world. I am a Master Gardener, and volunteer with the Extension Service at the University of Minnesota.
