I originally set out to pursue a career in public health, including serving in AmeriCorps at a community health center in Boston. There, I saw how important safe, stable, and affordable housing is to building healthy families and communities. During my time at a nonprofit serving women experiencing homelessness, I was inspired by the coalition of community advocates, developers, and government partners working together to create and preserve long-term affordability.
Now every day I get to work with industry partners to develop affordable housing in our community. In addition to the end result – more people in safe, healthy homes – I enjoy the intellectual aspect of the work, finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
Outside of work, I love to travel and try new foods, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy the outdoors as much as I can during the nicer months of the year.
I work with developers, investors and other industry partners to develop affordable housing low-income housing tax credits and other methods of financing.
