When I was doing field research collecting data to assist Carver County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in making new rules for food waste composting site engineering, I testified at a contested hearing and recognized a disconnect between scientists and lawmakers, and I knew I could help fill that gap by pursuing a legal career.
My Approach
I have pursued many interests in my career, but always knew I would be a lawyer in the end. I love combining my background in environmental science and consulting, with the legal and regulatory aspects of business opportunities and challenges, to help my clients get the best results.
Environmental implications transcend all areas of business. My goal is to help clients navigate the regulatory system in an efficient and cost productive manner. I help clients mitigate business and environmental risk, whether their needs are in real estate, brownfields, mergers and acquisitions, or other regulatory and administrative law.
Outside of the office, I love anything outdoors – I bike nearly every night, enjoy hiking, and swimming, and also love going to concerts and sporting events. In the winter months, I cross-country ski, travel, and visit art museums as much as I can.
