Advocacy & Lobbying attorney Tom Hanson was quoted by the StarTribune in an article discussing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and his response to federal administration handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Hanson, as the leader of the stimulus relief effort for Minnesota under former Gov. Tim Pawlenty amid political disagreement, has particular experience in this environment.

“Even Governor Pawlenty was circumspect about criticizing the president [Obama] when we are trying to accept and administer these programs that people need,” he said. “I was aware of it at the time, and wanted to make sure we did nothing to complicate things at the federal level.”
