Community Banking attorney Tony Moch is presenting the Vendor Management education sessions at the CONNECT Community Banking Expo hosted by Independent Community Bankers of Minnesota on April 24, 2019. Tony’s discussion will focus on, “Vendor Management Programs for the Community Bank,” and his session will be offered in both the morning and afternoon education sessions.
An effective vendor contract management system will save you money, make your bank more productive and improve that tricky “enterprise risk management” score on your exam. Tony’s presentation will outline a comprehensive vendor management system you can implement at your community bank. He will discuss vendor selection and negotiation processes, outline review protocols and risk assessment, and conclude by walking through a dynamic inventory you can use to provide senior management instant visibility into the bank’s core agreements. The presentation will also touch on some high–level vendor negotiation tips and discuss the vendor management system’s application to your bank’s treasury agreements.
About CONNECT Community Banking Expo
Today’s bankers face a wide range of challenges from the ever-changing landscape of regulation, technology, and competition. So, ICBM is expanding the focus on their bi-annual expo to bring community bankers together with a broader range of solution providers.
While the expo will still offer opportunities to meet with technology-focused companies, they’ve designed CONNECT to be your low-stakes, high-return-on-investment opportunity to interact with companies that can solve any of your community bank’s pain points.
The show is open to bankers in Minnesota and surrounding states. Known as the TechXpo in 2017, the event brought together more than 70 banks and over 250 bankers.
