Environmental attorney Betsy Schmiesing will speak about “Environmental Law’s Intersection with Real Estate and Corporate Matters” at Minnesota CLE’s seminar, Environmental Law 101 – Wetlands, Endangered Species & Cross-Practice Issues.

Significant projects, industrial processes and business acquisitions can involve a host of environmental issues and potential obstacles. Betsy Schmiesing shares practical insight on environmental issues that can arise in the course of a variety of projects, including: (1) brownfields issues in redevelopment; (2) environmental review; and (3) environmental due diligence in transactions. She also will share tips for real estate, credit-lending, and business lawyers working with environmental lawyers and environmental consultants in addressing these issues.
