MINNEAPOLIS — October 22, 2020. Winthrop & Weinstine is pleased to announce that Aimée Dayhoff and Tammera (“Tami”) Diehm have been named Notable Women in Law by Twin Cities Business magazine. The 2020 Notable Women in Law honorees span almost every area of expertise in the state of Minnesota, from family law and general counsel, to employment, patent, and medical law. They are helping set legal precedents, winning cases of national significance, founding and managing firms, and mentoring the next wave of leaders—all while finding time to give back to their communities.

Aimée Dayhoff joined the firm in 2002, and is a shareholder in Winthrop & Weinstine’s commercial litigation department. Aimée’s practice places a special emphasis on business-to-business litigation, which includes a wide array of disputes ranging from simple breach of contract and breach of warranty, to manufacturing defects, to insurance claims, in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration. Additionally, Aimée represents businesses in employment litigation, and well as counseling high-level executives on negotiations of severance agreements.

Tami Diehm joined the firm in 2004, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2018, and has been selected to serve as President of Winthrop & Weinstine, beginning January 1, 2021. As a shareholder, her practice includes representing clients in complex real estate transactions where she uses her experience as a former elected city council member and former city attorney to work through complicated issues. In addition to her real estate practice, Diehm is known for her work in the area of campaign finance where she advises corporations and non‐profits on how to participate in the political process.

To qualify for this list, individuals must self-identify as female, be serving in a senior-level role at a firm or institution in Minnesota, and have at least five years of experience in law.
